- i don't even understand milkshakes
- like why would you want to drink diluted ice cream
- when you could just EAT ICE CREAM
- unless the milkshake has booze in it, then it is okay
The Best Ice Creams!
Some idiot friend of mine asked me what the best ice cream in New York is so of course I had to answer him and then talked and talked about ice cream forever because that’s the only thing I know and care about. Here are my thoughts because I am 100% sure that everyone else cares as much as he did!
Best Ice Creams (and Gelatos too) in New York
- Stellina Gelato: Lower East Side
They have interesting fun flavors that are DELICIOUS and unavailable elsewhere, like Brown Sugar Strawberry and A Bee Named Elvis. Big points for risk, creativity, chunky bits, and quality!

Best Brooklyn Bites 2011: Top 10
2011 was a cool year. The summer was stupid hot, the winter has been weirdly mild, lots of new stuff opened up in the borough, and coincidentally, it’s the year Bklynography was born! Hooray! I’d like to take this time, the 10th day in 2012, to recap my top 10 best bites, eats, and meals I enjoyed in Brooklyn in 2011.
